Lucky 7 Challenge

My friend Haley tagged me in the newest game circulating around the blogging world.

Er... thanks, Haley!

So, here are the rules:

1. Go to page 7 or 77 in your current manuscript.
2. Go to line 7
3. Copy down the next seven lines/sentences as they are. No cheating!
4. Tag 7 authors to join in the fun.

Let's see, I think I'll use my WIP arsonist story for this... Gee, sure I hope this doesn't come out dirty or anything!

"I don’t pay you to question. Just get your ass back in there and let me know when he’s released. Now. And answer my god damn phone calls next time!”

“Aye, aye, captain.”

Taichi snapped the phone shut on whatever snotty retort his mystery client made on the other end of the line and stared down at his feet for a minute, wondering why he’d lied. Hell, he knew why he’d lied: the thought of sending Josh home to recuperate with that abusive, conniving asshole didn’t exactly seem like a healthy choice.

Okay, there you have it. Whew! Apparently the guys don't have sex on page 7. That's a good thing, probably.

Notice, I did say "probably"! :p

Now, here are more authors participating in the Lucky 7 challenge:

1. Rowenna Hamper
2. Haley Whitehall
3. Selena Wolff
4. Stephanie Jefferson
5. Elizabeth G Foley
6. Nancy Kelley
7. Nina Benneton

Have fun reading! I'll try to snag a few more authors too.
